Its duck green pairs perfectly with the Yvette coat with large green chevrons, or the Nikilie coat, whose small chevrons blend khaki green, racing green, and beige.
Take our favorite fabric. Combine it with the essential accessory for all summer and winter wardrobes. And voilà, the Marche à L'Ombre corduroy women's cap, which has become an iconic piece of the SIXSŒURS wardrobe.
Appearing last winter in three models, the SIXSŒURS corduroy cap saw its stocks snapped up in less than two days. What made them a hit were their premium material and their embroidered message "Marche à l'ombre" - a nod to Renaud's song and the cult film with the two Gérards, Gérard Jugnot, Gérard Lanvin and especially our Sophie Duez. Fun fact, the film will be 40 next year. For those who are seduced by the 80s, we have just released two Marche à L'ombre snow-wash denim caps: Janette in blue snow-wash denim and Amalia in black snow-wash denim.
But let's get back to our corduroy caps, the undisputed stars of the upcoming winter season, as we have unhesitatingly decided to re-release these corduroy caps for women.
First, we've just launched Ninon, in navy blue velvet with a pink patch – it's the new item for winter 2023.
At the end of November, we're re-releasing two stunning, original, and very SIXSŒURS colors: Viochka, in purple, and Lolita, in a magnificent duck green, which will perfectly complement a winter wardrobe consisting mainly of wool coats and jackets.

Sometimes considered only good enough to dress our grandfathers, corduroy is nevertheless a clear choice for SIXSŒURS, which proudly champions timeless fashion with details as refined as they are meticulous. Its bestsellers, to name but two, are the famous BEKONO fanny pack, the LOLA bomber jacket, and the Tanita Blue jacket, all three in wide-wale corduroy.
A little cultural note: velvet comes from India, specifically Kashmir. It then traveled to Italy and France at the end of the Middle Ages, beginning of the Renaissance. We all have in mind that ridiculous minstrel attire with tights, puffy blouses made of shiny velvet, pointed shoes, and a hat with bells. A huge success at the time, which you won't find at SIXSŒURS. In short, it was much later in England that corduroy was invented. Less fragile, it concealed stains and snags between its wales. A great success in industrial England, corduroy was no longer fragile but robust and became cult.
An emblematic fabric of the 70s, when bell-bottoms reigned supreme, corduroy was then somewhat abandoned, only to reappear today in its full glory with the SIXSŒURS "Marche à l'ombre" cap. Inspired by American baseball (a symbol of a nation in its own right) with its US college-look patch, this cap adds a retro-chic touch to the sporty style, evoking another famous cap: the Gavroche cap, brought back into fashion in the 2000s by haute couture houses, and worn in its time – like our unisex corduroy SIXSŒURS cap today – by both men and women.
Paired, casually and slightly tilted on the head, with a hoodie for a "sportswear" effect, or in cooler temperatures, with an oversized coat or a teddy jacket, the "Marche à l'ombre" corduroy cap always hits the mark and keeps you warm!

This purple Marche à L’ombre corduroy cap for women goes perfectly with our Charlie blue and beige twill coat, our Klint jeans, or, to stick with corduroy, our Javotte lavender trousers.
